Lazy Loading

We have just added a great new performance feature to Kickpages, “Lazy Loading” for images in your page.

When a user visits a long page, there are lots of images that are off the screen which are loaded as soon as a user hits a URL. This makes the overall page speed slower, as the browser queues up these images and downloads them for display.

With Lazy Loading, kickpages will only load the images as they are needed to be displayed. Your users will not notice any difference other than your page loading more quickly. As they scroll, kickpages loads the images further down the screen before they get to them.
